When I updated the PC3 and tightened everything that I could and put it all back together, all lights and DPS were working. Yesterday spent the whole day on it with our grandkids and parked it for dinner, went out to bring it into the garage, everything was back to the old gauges problems and the DPS wasn't working, no power steering.
2150 posts · Joined 2021. #4 · Dec 20, 2022 (Edited) Yes the yellow button is for changing DPS settings. EXCEPT when the shifter is in Reverse it becomes an override button. In reverse gear the power is very limited under normal conditions. When you need full power in reverse, press and hold the yellow button before giving it throttle.
To see if you have dps pull the plastics off in front left wheel well. There should be three or 4 plastic push pins holding it on. They changed the DPS part that stores the software for the 2013's hoping to fix it but it didn't so they released a software update but it only fixes some quads. BRP has wants dealers that have quads in their shop for DPS issues to ask customers as many question as possible about when the code came on and what they were doing.
I have a 2017 XT-P 850 with stock Terra Cross tires. Since new I would noticed that when riding in slow rough conditions with lots of turning my DPS assistance would become less and less. Almost like no assistance even in max. Shut off and wait 10 mins, back to normal.

All 2021+ commanders have power steering. I would suggest the XT for the price difference you get Larger display, winch, roof, front bumper, 28in tires on alum rims. I would go with a bracket lift over a puck lift. A 2in is better suited for the 62in models. Duece, BombardierBomb and 10mm_.
