The Abdus Salam School of Mathematical Sciences (AS-SMS), ( درس گاہ عبدالسلام برائے علوم ریاضی) is an autonomous institute affiliated with the Government College University Lahore, Pakistan. [1] The school is named after the theoretical physicist and Nobel Laureate Abdus Salam .
In March 1916, the school had 1477 students, of whom 1350 were Hindus, 32 Brahmins, 10 Jains, 12 Muslims, 66 Parsis and 7 Indian Jews. After Partition in Pakistan 1947, the Sindh Assembly convened in that building to carry out their meetings and tasks. Eventually they shifted and the building was converted back into a school.
The International Indian School is an English medium school and was founded in 2002 in Ajman, United Arab Emirates. The school is recognized by the Ministry of Education, U.A.E. and affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. In 2018 all 143 students who sat the grade 10 CBSE exams passed.
