    Walmart doesn't do battery recycling unless you pay them a fee or if it is attached to the new battery 7 fuckin dollars. Interstate gave me $30 for the 2 batteries I took in, I walked out with a better than walmart battery 3 years ago for $120. My truck still starts like it was a new battery.

    Carry jumper cables and a jump box. Attach connectors and plug your battery into a smart trickle charger regularly. Clean the terminals and the top of the battery with a little baking soda and dish soap on a damp rag, yearly. Decode the manufacture date and expect to replace it every 3 - 5+ years.

    Cars with start/stop Auto have huge batteries. My 1.4 liter Chevy Cruze has an 85Ah battery due to that. It’s hilarious, that’s a Golf sized car and they always had 55-65Ah batteries until they came up with that EPA stuff. Hell, my Rubicon has a 65Ah but no start/stop.
