Collinsville is a city located mainly in Madison County and partially in St. Clair County, Illinois, United States. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 24,366. [ 3 ] Collinsville is approximately 14 miles (23 km) east of St. Louis, Missouri , and is part of that city's Metro East area.
Added to NRHP. 2002. The Brooks Catsup Bottle water tower, trademarked "The World's Largest Catsup Bottle", is a water tower south of Collinsville, Illinois. It is claimed to be the largest catsup bottle in the world at 70 feet tall on a 100 foot stand with a volume of 100,000 gallons, which could theoretically hold 640,000 bottles of catsup.
