The Campground loops for camping A, B, C, D, and I are now OPEN for camping. Operational Hours: Open for day-use only at Fawnskin Picnic Area. Camping is available in Loops A, B, C, D and I. During winter months, campsite access is walk-in only and drive-in during the summer. Reservations: First-come, first-served only. Fees: $5 for day use.
Crystal Lake Campground opens around June 2nd and closes in late October. Nearby trailheads lead to the Crystal Lake Loop Trail and a trail which leads to ice caves. In the summer, Crystal Lake is well-suited for canoeing.

With a 500-foot swim beach and the crystal clear lake, Spectacle Lake Campground is a family favorite. The campground offers 34 single family campsites, available for tent or RV camping. The campground offers both first-come, first-served campsites as well as sites which can be reserved in advance.
Forest Service campgrounds, even for day-use, requires a $12 fee. This covers one vehicle (8 people per site) per night, $5 for extra vehicle. 50% discounts given for Senior or Accessible America the Beautiful Pass holders.
