(Miami, Florida) Last week I received a notification that someone unknown sent me $2,000 on Cash App and then canceled the payment. They then requested a refund but I didn't see any additional funds in my account so I declined it, reported them, and blocked them because that's scammy.
Edit: for clarity this is what the bank told him, he didn’t know anything about cash app or crypto until they told him. The bank also said Cashapp is the number scam they see. They also said that sometimes once a persons cash app has been compromised they can access account of the persons friends in Cashapp.
