He could care less about Yamaha's profits, or whether I buy it from my dealer (where he works) -- he just thinks (I didn't drill him for the 'whys') those are better oils, so I use YamahaLube.

In the '80's, blew an oil cooler line on my Formula Vee. Ran for a good 45 seconds at 5000 rpms with no oil pressure. Replaced the line, filled it back up with Valvoline dino oil, ran the rest of the season. 800 hrs on my Zuke 225 when sold. All with synthetic oil, most of that Mobil 1 (15-50).

Fuel is injected directly into cylinder. The oil and fuel never mix except the little amount in the vst.
