    2 stroke outboard oil My Yamaha mechanic (5-star certified, FWIW) told me to use either YamahaLube or Merc Quicksilver, so I do. He could care less about Yamaha's profits, or whether I buy it from my dealer (where he works) -- he just thinks (I didn't drill him for the 'whys') those are better oils, so I use YamahaLube.

Replaced the line, filled it back up with Valvoline dino oil, ran the rest of the season. 800 hrs on my Zuke 225 when sold. All with synthetic oil, most of that Mobil 1 (15-50).
