After a bad shut down, and after restating Utorrent, pending downloads are "Checked". That is, under the status bar, before downloading resumes, Utorrent does some kind of 'checking'. It is slow, tedious and a 4Gig file can take 15 minutes AND, it only does one file at a time!. Once completed, Utorrent will re-start any dloads.
uTorrent (for Windows) Troubleshooting. The 'Ads' and: 'File' 'Options' 'Help' (and everything they bring up) are flashing/flickering about once per second since I updated to 3.5.5 (build 45952). It does not affect functionality, but it's driving me insane! I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling uTorrent - no luck.

Hi there new to utorrent, and while I was doing the speed test it would fail on the closest area, so I did what was the users here said and it worked, thanks for that. However first time configure so I enabled the encryption like the welcome page said and then ran a speed test again to the closest location, which was failing before.
Posted November 24, 2019. I finally discovered what the cause of Utorrent crashing is... Under OPTIONS / PREFERENCES / ADVANCED / DISK CACHE be sure to UNCHECK the box that says "Override automatic cache size". Utorrent crashes if you override the automatic cache size, even if you pick the maximum of 1800. I would suggest that the developers ...
