The Coleman Bridge connects York County and neighboring Gloucester County. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 215 square miles (560 km 2), of which 105 square miles (270 km 2) is land and 110 square miles (280 km 2) (51.3%) is water. It is the third-smallest county in Virginia by land area.
