Based on Amazon prices the difference between the Switch Alpha 12 and Switch 5 with a Core i5 CPU is $200. There is an Alpha 12 priced in the the mid $400 range, but that has a less powerful Pentium N4200 CPU.
Hosting sites such as 1fichier won't really work with an IDM as well because once your download starts, you need to wait the X time frame to start your next one. IDMs aren't any faster at downloading and it doesn't matter if your download stops, you need to wait X time before you can try again. (unless you pay/join the site of course.)

If you’ve got Steam, you can look through Settings>, in the Downloads tab, check to see if the Allow downloads while gaming is enabled. If so, untick the box and click on OK. Likewise you can fine tune each games behavior when it comes to downloading by right clicking on the game in the Steam menu, select Properties>Updates.
