Nevertheless, Brassman Brass and Diamond K Brass advertises once-fired Lake City .308 Winchester and 5.56x45mm military brass. It's plausible they buy their brass from government auctions or something along those lines. Military brass has crimped primers, so seeing crimped spent primers is a pretty good indication that it's indeed once-fired.

Yesterday I was in touch w/Diamond K brass who told me they could not find nickel .357 Magnum brass to save their lives right now - offered me the choice of refunding what I had invested in 200 .357 Mag nickel cases, or rolling that over into another order for 200 cases of .38 Spec. nickel brass. I invested in the extra nickel .38 Spec brass.
