Avis moving LAX locations. For anyone with a rental from LAX... Cannot wait for the consolidated facility to be ready. We see that you have previously rented a vehicle with us at Los Angeles Int'l Airport (LAX) and we have an important update for you. International Airport will move to a new location at 5251 W 98th Street, Los Angeles, CA 90045.
Pontiac G8 GT - sportiest car I've rented with National. Impala SS - 300hp V8, leather, XM, etc. Buick LaCrosse Super - same as Impala (haven't rented one of these but will soon) Buick Lucerne CXS - Very comfy, nice ride, not as quick as the others but a little sporty. FYI - I do not consider a CTS a sporty car.
Take the first free shuttle you find from the RED hotel pick up area outside T7 for the Hyatt, Courtyard LAX, Homewood Suites, or Sheraton. Your comment on the RED Hotel shuttle is certainly the least expensive, and likely also the quickest, given the apparent Midway location at Homewood Suites (6151 W Century Blvd).
Plenty of standard fair, a few minivans, Mustangs, one Camaro. Also was a Ford Ranger, a 330i (that I was going to take initially) until they pulled up an X3. Decided to take the X3 since I like cars with local plates and could use the exrta room. The 330i was 2020 with over 40K on the odometer.
California - Car Rental LAX - SFO vs SFO - LAX - We are planning on either flying into LA and out of SF or vice versa - after reading posts here I was hoping to start our trip in SF and end up in LA. However car rental prices (including taxes) are approx $350 /week LAX - SFO and $650 /week SFO - LAX.
Posts: 5. Avis vs. Budget at LAX. I'll be renting a convertible at LAX in a few weeks. Avis is about 5% more expensive than Budget for the same car. My gut feeling tells me that it's worth paying more because Avis has better service. On the other hand, I know they share a common fleet and probably the same staff, so it might be illusory.
Los Angeles - Car Rental or Uber @ LAX - I'll be in LA for two days before boarding heading to Australia. Hotel is next to the airport and offers free shuttle service. I've never been to LA, so I'd like to check out the beach and downtown. Found a car rental for $65 total. Hotel charges $17 to park. Then gas. Should I
Rental Car Discussion - Car rental LAX (and elsewhere in US TBH) - First trip in a long time is approaching (as for many others I am sure) and I simply can't understand car rental pricing in the USA right now.
Budget is directly across the street from the 4PTS, making this the most convenient car/hotel pairing, while the Sheraton is a block away. Easy walk with sidewalks the whole way. The other majors are a half block further. While Budget is across the street from 4PTS, Avis is a block South and Hertz is 2 blocks South.
Rental Car Discussion - LAX - LAS ONE way car rental. - Im looking for one way rental March 10-14..anyways to get it cheaper than ~$50 a day??
