Harman/Kardon as a bluetooth speaker. Hey, I know that MS is finishing its support of Cortana on Harman/Kardon speaker, but I want to continue to use it as a speaker. Unfortunately, a couple of weeks ago my speaker disconnected from the service and never connected back. I've reset it and tried to connect it again but failed.
a. Go to the Start menu, open Settings, and select "Devices". b. Click on "Bluetooth & devices" on the left panel. c. Locate your Bluetooth speaker in the list of devices and click on it. d. Select "Remove device" and confirm the action. f. Put your Bluetooth speaker in pairing mode according to its instructions.
Report abuse. In reply to Greg Carmack's post on April 17, 2021. Hi Greg. I'm referring to the downgrade MS applied to the Invoke by removing its Cortana capabilities. When that happened, even though the speaker has mics and it's supposed to be used by Bluetooth now, it does not work for making calls.
Follow the on-screen instructions in the Surface Diagnostic Toolkit. Update Windows. Ensure all pending updates are installed. Select Check for Windows updates. Report abuse. Microsoft announced in July 2020 that they would end support for Cortana on the Invoke speaker in January 2021. The speaker will receive a firmware update in 2021 to make it into an ordinary Bluetooth speaker. So see if you can update its firmware from the speaker maker. Contributor since 2006.
Maybe switching off bluetooth on your phone (if you have exactly the same problem) and restarting your PC/speaker can be a solution. Hope that helps. Yep, I bought the exact same speaker and have the exact same problem been spending 2 days doing everything to resolve it.
Also, under System Properties>Performance Options>Advanced, change the processor scheduling to adjust for best performance of background services. Audio (Bluetooth Audio) is a background service. Changing this and disabling Bluetooth PAN should fix the problem for everyone.
If I say "Hey Cortana, pair Bluetooth," it responds and says it is entering pairing mode, but my phone doesn't detect it. When I try pressing the bluetooth button on the speaker, nothing happens... the speaker does not enter pairing mode as expected. I did not have this problem the last time I used it (probably 2-3 months ago).
Bluetooth on my window 10 does not connect to my Harman Kardon Aura studio 2. Hi, my bluetooth speaker was working fine in all my devices, but today it started disconnecting ONLY on my laptop (which runs on windows 10), so the problem is not with the speaker, because it keeps working perfectly when paired with all my other devices.
