Customer: 1990 suburban 350 fuel injected 4x4 new factory engine runs at 210 degrees installed new radiator and oil cooler have installed optional electric temperature gauge also reads 210 degrees i have been told that this won't hurt anything I prefer a cooler running engine will putting in a180 degree thremostat solve this
Customer: I have a 1990 Chevy Suburban 1500 4 x 4 w/350 engine and 3 speed overdrive automatic transmission. We just use it to get lots of groceries or haul stuff from Menards home or pull the boat to the lake. the last few times it seemed funny about shifting from. 1 to 2nd it would shift alitttle higher rpm or speed a few times.

Chevy Mechanic: JOHN aka Eauto. To make the actuator extend you need 12 volts to pin #2 (ON THE ACTUATOR), a ground to pin #1 (ON THE ACTUATOR), and pin #3 to ground (this is where the switch comes in). To make it retract pin #3 neeeds to be ungrounded. All pin 5 does is send power to the 4wd indicator light when the actuator completely extends.

Customer: its a 1990 suburban 2500 4x4. automatic front hubs. when I pull the floor shifter into 4wd, the front end has a spinning sound and it won't engage. I jumped out and the wheels seem very loose or the Axel I should say has lots of play.
