Hello whiteoaks and welcome, If you are not using any Comcast static IP on a Comcast Gateway (CG) including SMCD3G, NetGear3000DCR, or DPC3939B then depress the little black reset button on the rear of the CG for minimum 15 seconds, then your CG will be set back to default setup paramters including your 10.1.10.1 direct interconnect using Enet cable to any LanPoprt 1-4 using cusadmin/highspeed.
To log into your Business Gateway, the default username is cusadmin. The default password is highspeed. After you have logged in to the Comcast Business IP Gateway, you can configure the gateway settings listed in the menu. This would not be the case if one of your admin's updated it after logging in previously with these credentials.
Hello, I cant seem to find my login on the "10.0.0.1" admin tool page. I have factory reset the router, making sure the LEDs turned off and tried the default "admin" for username and "password" password, but it didn't seem to work. So to access the xfinity gateway administrator login page you need to go into a browser type in 10.x.x.1 (x can be replaced with whatever number was set as the ip) and normally a login screen to the modems admin settings SHOULD appear. For thr past week, however, i have been unable to access the login page. It just times out.
