OfferUp is literally a thieving platform that fucks sellers out of money. I’ve sold several items that I was never paid for. The buyers paid the money for the items, but OfferUp will not deposit my money in my fucking bank. It’s been nearly 20 days since the last item I sold was received by the buyer, but I have yet to receive my money.

A lot of sellers who use Offerup aren't posting their "excpected" price, it's more like a "Hey I'd like to get this, but realize it's Offerup, so willing to take something lower". Not every item/seller does this, as some expect to get their listing price for every item, but most will take offers lower than listed (just don't be a dick and try ...

Using Offer Up on a Computer instead of the App. I don't have a cell phone right now so I am using my home computer. Anyway offer up is king. Over 10k items sold and 4700 plus positive feedbacks. By the way I sell authentic new era and Mitchell and ness hats. I don't see how anyone thinks Offerup is better than Facebook marketplace or ebay. Overall, I have significantly better success on eBay. The 12.9% is higher than I'd like, but OfferUp shipping is just as ...

  8. Shipping Scam - How Does It Work? : r/offerup - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/offerup/comments/rbxgoe/shipping_scam_how...

OfferUp authorizes your card at time of offer made, then officially captures the money when the shipping label they provide is scanned, and only pays the seller once there's a delivery notification (which then you have 2 days to do Buyer Protection if needed). If the seller never ships (using their label) the transaction will cancel, and the ...

When I created my first posting I got a “welcome” email/message from OfferUp. I still have the email, but if I click the “button” in the email I get taken to the message in the OU app, but there’s no way for me to respond to it.
