Finding the date of manufacture of a laptop/desktopPC or battery is pretty simple. Finding that of a power adapter, it isn't called a charger, is not something that is coded into firmware, so I cant't see how we can help you with that. Why do you want to know when it was manufactured? That is an uncommon and perhaps unique question.

Hello Team, I have HP EliteDesk 800 G4 35W Desktop Mini which is brought brand new and when the computer is booting it's showing a message on the top of the screen "System is booting in manufacturing program mode... : 31" . I have noticed some time the number at the end of the message is changing 1, 2 , or 33.
Hi, the message may be: Manufacturing Program Mode set: 1 of 10. This issue occurs when a notebook is incorrectly left in Manufacturing Program Modeprior to shipment. Manufacturing Program Mode allows up to 10 attempts at use before the notebook resets itself and resumes its expected behavior.

Is anyone versed in reading the manufacturing codes on the pakages to help determin if they are expired or not? I read somewhere that the cartidges are good for about 2 years after the manufacturing date but not 100% sure if that is true or not. Any details you might have on this topic would be much apprecated.

My interpretation of the HP wrapper code is as follows: The first four digits indicate the country of origin (MYS4 comes from Malaysia). The next six digits indicate the 'install by' date (160300 means March 2016). The third set of digits is the manufacturing date, typically 18 months before the 'install by' date.
