The number given as an example is not an actual casting number that Ford used, since they didn't start using double digit design level change designations until the 70s, but, if it were a real number, it would be telling you that this is the first change of the second design of an engine block that was originally designed for use in a 1962 Falcon.
I have the same problem with a 2014 Ford Focus. I changed the control modual and the fan. The big problem is that the fan does not cool all the time so the car overheats sometimes. It also does not come on for the AC sometimes so the AC blows warm air. I finally got a schematic diagram for the circuit so now I can get into it more.

Used it for 2 weeks on a nd off during the 3rd week the AC went out. Made an appointment with my local Ford dealer regarding the AC problem. Answer, currently there is a back order of AC compressors for 2024 F250 trucks. Per Ford people a bad batch of AC compressors were installed in the new ford trucks and is currently a nation wide problems.
