  2. International MXT in Truck Trend - Expedition Portal

    forum.expeditionportal.com/threads/international-mxt-in...

The MXT is a large vehicle, but it's within an inch or two of F350 or F450 with dual rear wheels. The MXT is about a foot taller than most pickups, however. Despite being a huge vehicle with a rugged frame, the standard MXT has a cargo capacity of only 4000 lbs. That's no more than the current F350 4x4 with single rear wheels, let alone duals.

    forum.expeditionportal.com/threads/wow-2008-unicat-amerigo...

The reason for selling the MXT-based camper is that, after this camper was built, International decided not to continue selling the MXT to the public. I'd say there's probably less out there in America than North-American-spec U500s.

  11. Unicat on International chassis - Expedition Portal

    forum.expeditionportal.com/threads/unicat-on-international...

The International 7400 is not as maneuverable as cab forward trucks like the Unimog or MAN used by Unicat in Europe. And the 7400 is a lot more expensive than the comparable UD model. Since the UD 4x4 chassis is available with GVWR from 20,000 to 33,000 lbs, UD could work with any Unicat cabin, even the cool models with the pop-up roof.
