Community Manager. Origin Accounts are now called EA Accounts. This is a simple name change; you don't have to do a thing. Your Account for everything EA. Continue logging in to your EA Account with the same information you always use. You won't notice any changes in your experience other than updates to the name and logo on login windows.
Solved: I've got a question, my Origin won't download. (Not the games but actual Origin) After installing it, it will say 'Whoops - the installer
Clearing the cache in the EA app. Reinstalling BF3. Reinstalling the EA app. Performing a clean boot of my PC. Performing a DNS flush. I've even tried redownloading the Origin app, starting the download on the EA app, closing the EA app and then continuing the download on the Origin app. Nothing has worked.

For getting through the help site to contact live chat, please follow these steps: 1. For the product, please select EA app. 2. For the topic, please select " I need help logging in to my EA Account".
The usual suspects are the anti-virus, firewalls, etc. You can read more about it in our Help EA article about closing background applications. This is not the only solution though, you can also try performing a clean boot of Windows and only boot up Origin after you are logged into your Windows account. Reply.
I downloaded and replaced my Origin App with the EA App after updating to the 11th October Patch. Unfortunately it seems that my games files are still located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\Game\Bin.
I did some research to see how to fix this problem and that the best approach is to open up the local C drive and access origin from there via but that file is not there at all because it cannot even be installed. (E.T.C x 86 or x64). I'm a bit stumped, not sure if its a origin issue or Microsoft program issue. Any Ideas you have would be great!
