This is not what we aim for. A hard reset should fix minor display issues with TVs; however, since the issue is persistent, we believe that a hardware issue is what is causing it to not show any display. It could be due to circuit board issues at the back of your TV that only the manufacturer could help you with.

Since the brand of your TV is Onn, it might be best to contact their support directly and inquire further about this issue so it can be addressed. TV manufacturers provide direct support with their TV models.

With the ability to specify OTA channels manually, I know the Roku TV is programmed to process those particular channels. I eliminate one element of uncertainty this way. Than I can deal with the other element of uncertainty of weak or strong OTA signals based on antenna orientation and the weather at the moment.

You can buy true Roku remote from either walmart $19.88 or Best Buy $29.99, its wifi voice remote that would have to be paired with the Roku tv. It has the model RC-AL7R. Or at Walmart you can get a universal remote like One-For-All urc-7935 streamer remote, its IR remote that can be programmed for your Onn Roku tv, just use the TCL Roku tv codes.
