Don Teodoro R. Yangco, noted philanthropist and business magnate, was born in San Antonio, Zambales on November 9, 1861. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts from the Ateneo de Manila University and studied law at the University of Santo Tomás. He pursued a commercial course at Ealing College in London from 1882 to 1886.
