The alternate ending is so good I'm not mad about this getting a sequel. Yes, no one was asking for a sequel but I'm willing to give this the benefit of the doubt before passing judgment. Not a fan of Goldsman at all, but I'll wait and see.

He's saying he wanted to make 2049 and chose Alien, yet Covenant was a universally panned sequel which also lost the studio money, so thank God he wasn't more involved with the former. And I adore the original Blade Runner, even more so than the sequel, and surely it was much shorter, but it was really slow paced too.
I would have preferred a street level film myself , but unfortunately, I think the delayed timing for Spiderman 4, meant that the project got caught up in the whole Kang/ Doom/ Multiverse, reorganization stuff. Ideally , a more street level Spiderman 4 would have come out this year at the latest , but the strike messed that up .
JAWS - Enough time has passed and with the popularity of some of the more recent shark film hits like 47 Meters Down, The Shallows and The Meg etc. I feel a JAWS sequel done with quality and good budget could be amazing and a massive hit. I also want them to rely on practical effects, they could do so much with animatronics in 2023.
