    NEITHER fixes the problem. iPod is recognized by iTunes (i.e., device is recognized by iTunes and Windows file explorer) but will not synch. Using Windows 10 and the iPod is 7th generation Nano.   7. Solution found by Apple Support: Run iTunes. Connect iPod. Click "Music" in iTunes. Click "Sync" and "Entire library". That fixed the issue with the playlists not syncing. It did NOT re-transfer my entire library, fortunately. Just the recent changes, including the playlists. View in context.
