North Alabama. Mar 23, 2008. #1. I've searched the internet for an accurate list of 10-codes that police use for Alabama. I found one but I'm not sure of it's accuracy. For instance, the list I have says that 10-13 means weather and road conditions, but I've heard Decatur police use 10-13 and it had nothing to do with roads or weather.
Here is Huntsville Fire best I can tell. Maybe someone can check these and add them to a .pdf with the rest of the Huntsville area codes and post it here. 10-1 Receiving poorly. 10-2 Receiving well. 10-3 Stop transmitting. 10-4 Acknowledge/Okay. 10-7 Out of service (give location) 10-8 In service.

Jun 10, 2012. #1. Auburn seems to use the DPS 10-code. What about the just "code # " . I commonly hear Code 1, Code 8. Code 3, Code 5, Code 6 are almost exclusively with traffic stops. I know 5 and 6 are disposition (ie ticket, warning) but don't know which is which. Any help would be appreciated!
