With dual head printers like the S50670, S50675, S70600, S80600, S40600, you can put the printer in single head mode and run with just one head if you have print quality issues with one head.
One big difference between HP Latex and Epson's Resin printer is probably a big factor -- the printhead and droplet size. Its variable on the Epson, and can go as low as a third of the droplet size. This is what HP needed to do for some time now but they cannot achieve it with thermal printheads.
The 60600 doesn't have white, orange or light inks but for general sign printing those aren't needed. The small droplet size means light inks aren't necessary. The 4 colour ink set has plenty of gamut and backlits are stunning. 60600s have an additional dryer too. S.

Here is my third video using my Epson Workforce Eco solvent conversion printing on outdoor gloss vinyl.,, printed just as good as my old CJ-500 Roland printer. I would be great if I now could figure out how to contour cut it on my vinyl cutter.
The Epson S-Series printers include over 100 profiles with the included Onyx RIP and have a media server you can download many more profiles from based on media type or manufacturer. The profiles are created by Epson to optimize performance with the S-Series.
Epson are fine machines (and nicely priced) but the problem is service - they only use Decision One for their repairs/service and I've heard some pretty bad feedback from customers regarding that - personally, I would investigate other users in your local area who have Epsons and see what their service has been like.
