The Cleveland Police Department operates 24 hours-a-day, seven days-a-week, 365 days-a-year, to provide the citizens and visitors with law enforcement services. The department will provide the same services around the clock day or night such as answering calls for service, preventive patrol, traffic enforcement, and responding to emergencies.
The Records Unit is the depository for all original police reports, completed either electronically or hand written. These include offense reports, crash reports, arrest reports, field interviews, etc.

Residents who wish to view or obtain copies of Police Department Records will need to complete the Open Records Request Form and submit it to the Cleveland Police Department via email or in person. CHARGES. There is no charge to view records.
