they run less target boost. Not only that, but we are detuned compared to the JDM version. There, the same Forester XT 2.0 direct-injected turbocharged engine makes even more than the USDM WRX. Source: Subaru Japan and the Forester Wikipedia page claim it makes 276hp (206kW).

  3. Which is more reliable: Subaru Forester or Honda CR-V?

    www.reddit.com/.../comments/os20y7/which_is_more_reliable_subaru_forester_or_honda

C638. •. With your driving patterns, both are going to be equally reliable. The Subaru is likely to have slightly higher maintenance costs, but is a more comfortable ride and has the best visibility of any car. The infotainment system The CR-V has a Hybrid option, which makes the most sense to me for the Honda.

  8. New Car Smell in Wilderness Interior : r/subaru - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/subaru/comments/xe8gle

The Wilderness, IIRC, uses the "StarTex" seats which in my experience do tend to off-gas a bit more than vinyl-leather seats. The rest of the trim however is basically the same. All modern cars are going to offgas for a little while, it's a bit inevitable tbh. My crosstrek sport (also with star tex) is ~4 months old now and it smells more like ...

  10. 2nd Gen vs 3rd Gen Forester: Why buy one over the other?

    www.reddit.com/r/subaru/comments/83ch2m/2nd_gen_vs_3rd_gen_forester_why_buy...

3rd gen sucks. Buy 2nd gen or 4thgen. 3rd gen feels cheep, all cloth and softer materials of 2nd gen are plastic in 3rd gen. I don't care too much about the interior. All I care is it's reliable, can go for long distances, is comfortable to drive, and can do some off roading. And plus, I actually prefer cloth seats over the leather.

  11. Pros and cons of a owning a Subaru Forester : r/SubaruForester -...

    www.reddit.com/r/SubaruForester/comments/swrvq1/pros_and_cons_of_a_owning_a...

The Forester has a CD player, knobs for adjusting the HVAC, great visibility, large sunroof. The adaptive cruise control, and blind spot monitoring are wonder for safety. Most impressive is how planted the Subaru’s feel on the road, dry and snow covered. I choose the Subaru over my 4x4 Silverado during inclement weather.
