The subject was Microsoft Account Security Alert. It read "we think that someone else might have accessed the Microsoft account (then it showed my email). There was a link to click that said "Recover account" I did not click on the link. Instead I logged into my account and changed my password.

I've received a few emails from this sender: account-security-noreply @accountprotection.microsoft.com . I saw a similar post about this and noticed that if there any emails ending with @accountprotection.microsoft.com, is considered trustworthy. However, the content of the email seems dodgy to me. Please see attached image.
However, you'll know it's legitimate if it's from the Microsoft account team at account-security-noreply @accountprotection.microsoft.com. Always look at the sender's email ID and if it is not from Microsoft.com domain suffix, treat it as a phishing email. Please let me know if you need more assistance.
