About the only thing you can do yourself is replace the charging port. It's little more than the DC jack and some wires that plug into the motherboard. Relatively cheap and fairly easy to replace. Chances are at best 50-50 for a repair, if your charger committed suicide, it may have sent a surge to the mainboard.

There are two USB Type-C ports on your laptop that can be used to charge it. I would find it unlikely that both would be broken. My Spectre x360 13t-ap000 has an identical setup. If you have inadvertently broken one of the ports it can re replaced by a competent technician at a laptop shop.
Yes that charging port is borked. It is unlikely the laptop will accept a charge through the USB-C port because HP usually provides a USB-C charger on models that are able to do that.
