2,798. Yes you can play the Rift Game on the Quest 2 using the link cable. Or even with Virtual desktop. IF you have a 5Ghz router and it's near your PC, Virtual desktop might work for you. Also, some of the games you bought on the Rift are crossbuy, by crossbuy, it means if you buy it on one system it's available on the other system for free.
22,153. According to testing by Reddit users, the USB-C VirtualLink port on the new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 can be used with the Oculus Rift VR headset. Reddit user TheDecn accomplished this by using Apple's USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter to hook his Oculus Rift to the VirtualLink port on his RTX 2080. Another user needed help to get his to ...

Pancake lens. 2160x2160 SS'd at 150%. 100% wireless freedom. The image is unbeatable, the audio quality is very good and the compatibility is unparallel (as it is identified by the games as an Oculus quest). PSVR2 don't even come close. Last edited: Mar 20, 2023.

I’ve got my Rift on a gtx 1060 hdmi port and my primary display on the igpu. Problem is that I can’t see video movies on my Rift even though games play fine. I’ve found that I can fix this by unplugging the igpu cable or just extending the displays.

Stock clock is 1740mhz boosted on the Ventus. I noticed the 3080 12gb Suprim X has a boost clock of 1890mhz. Memory clock of the two is the same. Biggest difference is the Suprim X has a power rating of 390W with a +10% allowance of overclocking. Both have internal device ID: 10DE 220A.
The motherboard is a ASUS Z-170K. The CPU is a i7 6700K. I replaced the power supply completely with a brand new one this morning. Re-seated the video and reconnected the two PCIe connectors. Tried powering on the PC and nothing. It won't even come on at all with 970 GTX inserted even with a new power supply.
That explains why the one that came with my Oculus Rift is such a fucking pain in the arse. It will not work in Windows 7, it connects ok but just after a game is loaded it disconnects, every single time. I tested it in Windows 10. It works only when, after booting the adapter is unplugged, replugged and then a connect attempt made.
