TL;DR I can't log into my Epic Games Account because I haven't received any 2FA email with the security code for almost two weeks now. So as you know, the option to have the Two-Factor Authentication via an authenticator app has been available only for a couple of days now. Previously it used to be only emails with 6-digit security codes.

I stopped playing Fortnite for a few months and Epic Games logged me out. When I try to log back in, it asks for a 2FA code that they sent to me via email, but there is never a 2FA code there. It doesn't matter how long I wait, they never send me a code. I used to use an app to get my 2FA code, but the app doesn't show the code either.
Essentially 2FA was turned on in their epic games account but not their PlayStation accounts even though it’s the same email. -log into Epic Games on desktop with email and turn on 2FA. -log into Epic Games on desktop via playstation account (it was the same email for PS and EG) and turn on 2FA. This solved the problem for PlayStation5 and PC

Corr5rur7r. 1: Go to Epic games.com. 2. log yourself in through xbox acc. 3. enable 2fa. 4. go though epic games to fn (notice not through xbox cloud gaming in google) 5. click on play (now there should be something to chose from xbox cloudgaming etc.)#. 6.chose xbox cloud gaming through epic games.
Hi, can someone save me from the pain of enabling fortnite 2fa. Summary: XBOX Live account has 2fa enabled. EPIC games account has 2fa enabled.
