Golden clover: this tragically short living plant give a whopping +135% golden cookie frequency, this can reduce the spawn time of golden cookie drastically, very strong when you are triyng to make combos of for seasons. The dark side of this plant is the mentioned short lifespan, that requires more micromanagement of your garden.

the garden has a regular "tick" and this is when garden changes are done (i.e. new plants start, plants mature, and old plants die) and the tick is faster or slower depending on soil type (and you can have an artificial tick by using a sugar lump). Getting Mutations. To start, plant Baker's Wheat and I prefer the grid instead of the line method.

Share. CreativeName2042. • 4 yr. ago. All soils are useful, except Pebbles imo. Wood chips is best for getting new plants, Fertilizer is best for waiting for plants with long maturation like JQB, Duketater, or the Drowsyfern. Clay is good for wanting to enhance powerful setups, and dirt can be used whenever, there's no issues with it.

The current garden guide is rather incomplete. For one, I don't think it ever mentions that the cost increases as you plant more. Furthermore, it definitely doesn't mention the fact that a plant's effects actually increase as the plant matures.

By filling the garden with nursetulips and golden clovers in the right way, the effect multipliers of all spots with golden clovers add up to 51.16 (or 51.22 if there's no rounding), which means that we get the effect of 51.16 golden clovers. I used Mathematica to confirm that the optimal setup is just having alternating rows of nursetulips and ...

2a) Sacrifice the garden but keep a JQB seed in hand to keep it unlocked (not sure if it works since you can't plant it - iirc you have to plant the seed you selected right after sacrificing, and harvest the plant when it matures to unlock it again). Assume that garden is maxed and all soil types are unlocked. 1.

Go for the plants with the longest maturation times first: juicy queenbeet, elderwort, drowsyfern. Also tidygrass, because it's necessary for everdaisy. Start with queenbeet. That means wheat → bakeberry, plus meddleweed → brown mold (you'll pick up crumbspore too) → chocoroot. Bakeberry+chocoroot → queenbeet.

    www.reddit.com/r/CookieClicker/comments/j1p9bb/everything_to_know_about_combos

An advantage of garden combos is that they are easier to execute, as you don't need to rush selling buildings, replanting garden, etc., and harvesting plants only takes an instant, opposed to the valuable seconds you need to click in a click combo. There are 3 candidates for garden combos: Bakeberries, Queenbeets, and Duketaters.
