Great clips charges 15 dollars a haircut when I worked there and you get about 15 minutes to do it. Most part clients are laid back but honestly I ran into so many super picky customers and nasty scalps. Now I work somewhere that the min haircut price is 50 and for some reason way less picky. No dirty scalps either. 1.
Great Clips is literally the worst of the chain places, and they all suck. Sport Clips is a little better. Every one of the chain places are only concerned with volume, not quality. They all pay poverty wages to make you afraid of looking somewhere else. My shop has a new barber who just left Great Clips and she loves it here.
Great Clips is 70/30 men and women AND they also do curling iron styles, flat iron, some do perms, updos Sports Clips is like 90% or more men The bad: Both will exploit you and burn you out. You will be pressured to do shitty haircuts on a time limit. You will be pressured to sell product that people don't want.
I heard bad things about Great Clips and horrible things about Supercuts (Supercuts is the worst). The Sport Clips near me has a hairstylist that has a good reputation, but the location has only 11 ratings and 4.2 stars, which used to be slightly lower. There is another Sport Clips near me that is 4.4 stars and has more ratings.

What's your experience with great clips (female) Question. I have long hair, waist length. I want a lot of layers but am on a pretty tight budget. Great clips $15 haircut is basically my only option. But I've heard cheap and good do not go together when it comes to haircuts. But, I dont want to hate on the people that work at great clips!
Someone in like Texas at a Great Clips threw away 4 out of about 50 donations to wigs for kids in sealed box. Some customer took a picture of the donations that they accidentally threw away. Long story short it was a social massacre online and now you have to donate your own hair after it getting cut off making the whole process much worse and ...
I wish we had not made the horrible mistake of buying into a franchise. This franchise made the "top 100 best small franchise" list as well as other honorable awards from business and franchise websites and magazines. It was terrible. We lost about $100,000 even with selling the business. Share.
