    Publix is finally at a point where it’s being recognized and identified by people from places where there isn’t a Publix.     Lobster bisque is the best. Chicken Noodle sounds boring, I know, but its actually pretty good. The broth is broth-y & creamy instead of watery. My wife got the Chicken & Rice and Lobster Bisque and loved them both. chicken tortilla hands down. Broccoli Cheddar. The potato is good but only if you can add cheese to it.

You’ll get a call or text a week before your sync date to ask if there’s any changes, then another on the day it (should be) ready.

    Benefits: 4/10 As far as corporate jobs go- most of Publix’s benefits is nothing to write home about. Vacation isn’t great, sick time isn’t great, 401k match isn’t great, health insurance isn’t great. All actually kind of below average. Tuition reimbursement is solid, but a lot of places offer this.

    The company that does sushi went through some rebranding, but it's still the same people. And 5$ sushi on Wednesdays has been a thing for at least a decade. AFC is becoming Zenshi IIRC. Same people, but larger company was bought out so the look might change. Ours just got new uniforms.
