It's definitely fun to play and remember how things used to be back in the Genesis/Mega Drive days. The side scrolling beat 'em up is not a genre that gets made enough imo, and that's a shame. That being said, Streets of Rage 4 feels like you are playing an old school Streets of Rage game again and it's remakably faithful.
Not gonna lie, Sega Genesis Mini 2 (US version) looks really underwhelming, and I am almost losing interest. I am waiting for the rest of the list. If they do not put Final Fight CD on there like Japanese version of the Mini, I am not bothering with it and rather stick with what I already own.
A GBA adapter is scheduled for release this summer, and adapters for the Famicom and Mega Drive (Japanese Sega Genesis) will be available soon too. The system measure out to be 18 (width) x 9 (height) x 4 (depth) cm and weighs 320 grams.
I bought a PS2 (a great addition to my Sega Genesis) because my cheap ass couldn't afford a PS3. But as I just figured out, there is no version of Counter-strike or Day of Defeat for PS2, although I sort of guessed there wouldn't any platform versions of DoD. Anyway, is there any way I can run...
I grew up in the era of super nintendo and sega genesis, and one of the most memorable games i remember is ...

Totally worth it.[/li] [li]Ghost Recon: The first one. Even played on easy, this game may surprise you with the AI. Frankly, it's the only Ghost Recon game I enjoyed playing.
There was this one game I played on a friend's Sega Genesis that for the life of me I cannot remember the name of. It was a pretty basic side scoller beat-em-up. The lead character was a girl, and you could get new outfits to increase certain stats, like this pink dress that would increase your speed by two, and then a mecha looking suit that ...
As a Black youth back in the early 2000s, I became an avid gamer after being introduced to Sonic the Hedgehog on the Sega Genesis. From there, I fell in love with nearly every game under the sun, discovering as many as I could.
Gotta be a little nitpicky here, but there's plenty console that sold worse than the Gamecube. Like all of Sega's except the Genesis. Or all of Atari's except the 2600. Unless you meant worst selling Nintendo console, cuz, eh, Wii U.
Manzi DeYoung is a cosplayer from California who apparently specializes in sucking all of the innocence from my childhood memories. Last week, she posted several pictures of a newly completed Sonic costume that made me think differently about my Sega Genesis.
