Kalai Strode. Woodrow Wilson Kalaeloa Strode (December 16, 1946 – November 27, 2014) was a native Hawaiian assistant director in film and television from the early 1970s to around 2010. In film he worked on North Dallas Forty. In television he worked regularly in the series Diagnosis Murder. He also was an actor, writer and composer.
Kai was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. [1] He was brother of Lee Woodd, and the half brother of Kalai Strode and Junelehua Robertson. [2] His mother Lukia Luana, a Hawaiian princess, was married to actor Woody Strode. [3][4] His brother Lee Woodd, who was also an actor, died on 19 September 2002. [5][6]

Lured by Apache gold, two cavalry troopers desert their post, killing some of their fellow troopers in order to steal a Gatling Gun. The devious two use a pacifist pastor to bring the weapon across the country. A pursuing cavalry patrol kills one of the deserters and captures the other, however the recovered weapon has been made inoperable.
