Capital One Walmart Mastercard CLI. So I tried for a CLI on my CO Walmart Mastercard back on July 15th. I was denied for too many recent credit inquiries. Starting limit was $2,000. I was checking my email today and noticed I had one from Capital One that was sent yesterday. "Your credit limit has increased to $4,000."

Capital one Walmart CLi approved today. Ok I don't understand how Capital one works. I ask for credit line increase on my Capital one Walmart mastercard. My credit on the card is 18K and for last 6 months I spend about 200 to 300 per month and pay off the balance each month only use card at Walmart. Income is 80K and Fico scores around 800.
It was one of my first prime-ish approvals after my 13 DC. It's served its purpose. Besides, I only shop on wm.com once a year, and I avoid their stores like the plague. I will be interested to see what they do with the cards, though, and that might change my mind. FICO 8 (3/1/24) EX 806 EQ 824 TU 844. Current lineup as of 9/23.

Senior Contributor. 07-31-2024 09:59 PM. Re: Capital One profits cut in half on termination of Walmart partnership. I just got my letter telling me that a 5% card just went to a 1% card. Nice. Rebuild started in 2014 - $100k unsecured credit in 2017 - $500k unsecured credit in 2024.
Capital One Walmart card. Recently I have found some items cheaper at Walmart.com than Amazon. Since Walmart started using Capital One for that card, I decided to apply for it to get 5% cashback on the Walmart.com purchases. I had actually forgotten it was a triple pull. After applying, I got the 7 to 15 days message.
Re: Walmart Capital One Rewards changing to Quicksilver! I got my letter today confirming it's a switch to a QS card starting Sept 5th. It looks like it's the standard reward of 1.5%, and you get to keep any rewards you haven't used yet. The interest rate for me, at least is 32.24%, which I think was the standard one for the Walmart card.
