I recently update the wiki's herblore skill calculator to include: Botanist's mask add-on. 3-piece factory outfit. Scroll of cleansing. Brooch of the gods. Correctly account for portable wells' 5% increased produce. With those changes, you should now much more easily be able to see the true GP/xp of the various different herblore training methods.
I just made my own in excel. Open up the wiki tab and copy the xp per bar/potion into a tab and then multiply them by how many you have. I keep banked smithing, herblore, prayer, fletching, and a bunch of other shit in mine. Took about five minutes to set up.
I just hit 99 Herb after years of farming snapdragons and then making super restores by buying red spiders eggs. It cut into the herb run profits, but I’d buy 100 snapdragon seeds, about 1000 red spiders eggs, and end up with 2.5-4 mil in profit plus ~180000 herb xp every 3ish days.
14 votes, 17 comments. true. Prayer pots with amulet of chemistry (5% chance to create a 4-dose potion, 5 charges) cost around 4 gp/exp and give you ~190k exp/h if you buy unfinished potions.
Curatorus. • 4 yr. ago. Did 80-90 herb by doing stamina's last week. They weren't the fastest nor the best gp/xp, but they are the most afk (secondary ingredient only takes up 1 inventory spot) and struck a nice balance between gp/xp and xp/hr.
There are 3 methods (maybe just 2) to training Herblore. Buy unfinished potions, add secondaries. Most expensive, best xp. Buy Herbs, make unfinished potions, add secondaries. Worse xp, since making the unf pots takes time and doesn't give xp. It still costs money, but not quite as much as #1. Clean Herbs.
