  2. Is the used bike market tanking? - Bike Forums

That’s not to say older bikes are bad, but things do move on and that inevitably impacts used pricing. But even bikes with all the latest tech depreciate pretty fast on the used market. My £4.5k 2022 Canyon is worth about £2.5k today on the used market or £1,800 on their trade-in scheme. All current gen tech.

General Cycling Discussion - What size is this Cannondale? - I’m looking at purchasing a Cannondale Quick 1. The owner believes it’s a size medium but there’s no sticker on it that confirms that. There’s a series number that says CM18G515177 and another that says YC61467.

Pretty similar to the Super Record WRL wireless launched this spring but it has additional gearing options and a matte finish. It is also 150g heavier and $1100 cheaper but still an eye-watering $4,299.

It's respect for the old masters. It also suggests a long term commitment to a discipline. At the same time, claiming "old school" status could simply be an expression of every generation's tendency to stereotype the younger generation as weak and lazy. Looking for a "home trainer generator". As the title might suggest, I'm looking for a home trainer with power generation. not just a "phone charger" or whatever, like actually useful amounts of power. I made a DIY version of that a few years ago, basically fashioned a stand out of some pieces of wood and angle iron, with an old E-Scooter motor ...

Liked 757 Times in 463 Posts. Using a torque wrench. After countless decades tightening bolts on bicycles to "yeah, that feels about right", perhaps I could be a little more precise. I've been reading of using torque wrenches on bike and perhaps I should invest in one. I have one in the garage but I figure the range is all wrong and, anyway ...

Liked 150 Times in 106 Posts. Help with saddles. I've been cycling road bikes for around 50 years and in all that time I've never found a saddle that I've been totally happy with. The two best ones I've had were a Fizik Arione and a Fabric Line, both of which eventually snapped across the back. Curiously, another Fizik Arione that I bought was ...
