Warning to those thinking about purchasing or requesting lululemon gift cards for Christmas! I have had several issues recently with using gift cards online. Every time I try to use a partial gift card on the app the order will not process but then clears the balance of the gift card and puts it as a “pending charge”.

a few years ago I had over $200+ gift cards I attached to my account on the app stolen. I would not recommend attaching gift cards unless you’re about to make a purchase. Lululemon was horrible to deal with in this situation and told me that it was not their issue. After complaining for a month, they finally gave me the amounts back.
I took the gift card to my local lulu and they just exchanged it for a new one since they can swipe the card in store. I made this mistake at work once 😠it looks like a sticker you peel off, but you’re supposed to scratch it. Bring it in to a store, we can transfer the money to a new card :)
Yes I did! I contracted them on the Dec 26 and they told me a similar thing, the balance would go back before Jan 4th (8 days). The GEC who helped me was actually really nice and took time to really look if my order was placed or it was just a pre-authorized hold, it tuned out to be the latter.

They were a gift cards that accumulated over time, so I wasn’t sure what was on all of them. I used the scanner and entered the four digit scratch off code. In some cases, it said there was no balance, even though I was pretty sure there was. I tried again and entered the numbers manually, and then it showed that there was a balance!
