In this case it can be fiddly as you need to login with the obs browser before opening the chat link. This should work when you open youtube in the browser source, then right-click->interact and login to the site. After that you should be able to open the chat. Y.
I am looking at the OBS Scene. I can see my Webcam and its moving in real time matching me. I can see the chat overlay (from the above tutorial) I open the chat and type "Test" and the actual chat window updates. However, there is a delay for the window in the OBS Scene to update of about 5-6 seconds. Nothing else has that delay.
2022-10-07. OBS Studio does not directly provide the facilities to show the stream chat in your chat. However, you can display chat overlays from third-party alert providers, which are then embedded in the stream using a Browser Source.
