Founded in 1979, SLPA currently operates ports in Colombo, Galle, Hambantota, Kankesanthurai, Oluvil, Point Pedro and Trincomalee. [ 2] As of 31 March 2013 SLPA had a 3% stake in Colombo Dockyard.
